NT NSW Operator - Department of Agriculture NSW Highlights Successful “B2B ePhyto Exchange” Model at APTFF x PTW 2026
National Telecom Public Company Limited (NT) as the NSW Operator of Thailand, and the Department of Agriculture (DOA) presented the progress of their collaborative "B2B ePhyto Exchange" initiative—a fully paperless electronic exchange of phytosanitary certificates between Thailand and the Philippines at the United Nations Conference Centre (UNCC). This initiative serves as a pilot model for establishing a Digital Food Corridor to facilitate cross-border trade in plants and plant products.
National Telecom Public Company Limited, or NT as the NSW operator of Thailand and a member of PAA Digital Trade Alliance highlighted successful of collaborative "B2B ePhyto Exchange" initiative—a fully paperless electronic exchange of phytosanitary certificates between Thailand and the Philippines at the Asia-Pacific Trade Facilitation Forum x Paperless Trade Week 2026 (APTFF x PTW 2026). The event was co-organized by the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (UN ESCAP) and the Asian Development Bank (ADB) at the United Nations Conference Centre (UNCC) in Bangkok.
A key highlight of the event was a special panel discussion titled "ePhyto for Digital Trade Compliance: Public–Private Partnerships for Regulatory Compliance in Plants and Plant Products." Dr. Wongkot Vijacksungsithi, Senior Executive Vice President of Digital Business, NT, Mr. ChaisakRingluen, Director of the Plant Product System Development, and Certification Division, Department of Agriculture Thailand, Dr. Alicia Say, Head of Secretariat, PAA and the representative from the Philippines, Mr. Francis Lopez, PAA Vice Chair, President, InterCommerce Inc. and Mr. Jose Marie, Bureau of Plant Industry are the keynote speakers to present their roles and highlight the objectives, strategies, benefits, and challenges of establishing a Digital Food Corridor.
